A reply, a call, a written fee.
- A reply within one business day
Dylan reads the request and writes back with two or three times to talk. If the project is not a fit, he says so and points you somewhere useful.
- A thirty minute call
What you want to build, where, and roughly when. Free, and nothing to prepare. Pictures and a rough budget help; a survey does not matter yet.
- Scope and fee in writing
Within two business days of the call you have a written scope and a fixed fee. Every number is published on the packages page before you ever ask.
Questions
- How does a project start?
- Request a design call. It is a short form, and Dylan usually replies within one business day with a time to talk. The call is free and takes about thirty minutes: what you want to build, where, and roughly when. Within two business days of that call you have a written scope and a fixed fee.
- What does design cost?
- Every fee is fixed in writing before drawing starts, and every number is published. The packages page lists the standard and expedited fee for each package, what each one includes, and what it leaves out.
- Do you build as well as design?
- Yes. Design, drawings and the build run through one firm, so the scope you sign is the scope that gets built. If you already have a builder, we work alongside them, and our drawings are written for the field, not only for the permit desk.
